KANENGO AY WIN 63 SOULS FOR CHRIST

A total of 63 people publicly declared to follow Jesus Christ as their personal saviour through baptism on Sabbath, 13 November, 2021 following a two weeks evangelistic campaign at Kanyinji village, TA Chitukula in Lilongwe.

The campaign was led by the Kanengo Adventist Youth department, and the main speaker was Master Guide Chiyembekezo Napolo from Salima.

Preaching on Sabbath on the theme, 'Lisiyeni dziko lapansi lizipita' let the world go, Napolo said obeying commands of God and allowing His Spirit to lead us can prevent us from the fast approaching destruction of the world.

The effort which commenced on 31 October to 13 November 2021 has been marked historical as it has been the first since Kanengo SDA was organised as a church about 5 years ago.

In the afternoon, 24 men and 39 women were later welcomed following the baptism ceremony led by the Lilongwe North East district Pastor Harold Chiwamba which took place at Sector 2 SDA Church.

In his remarks, Pastor Solomon Naliya, Central Malawi Conference Youth director while expressing gratitude to God, thanked also the Youth department for such a recommendable job.

"Let us continue to join hands and work together in God's work as we have done here, and we thank God for helping us," Said Pastor Naliya.

A colourful parade by the Adventist Youths was demonstrated marking the end of the program.
