The vice-secretary for Central Malawi Conference Women Ministries Committee, Eluby Masauko has urged Adventist Christians to surrender their challenges to God in order to be helped and relieved.

Masauko said this on 22nd June 2024 at Kampepuza Church, Senior Chief Champiti in Ntcheu where she was a guest preacher on Women Ministries Emphasis Sabbath.

She preached a sermon titled "God Sees" taken from Job 34:21. She narrated the different challenges Haggar experienced from Genesis chapters 16 to 21.

Masauko said when Haggar was in the desert, her provisions finished. She was helpless until God helped her to get food and water.

"Many of us may be in a desert of desparation such as sickness hunger, famine, poverty and hopeless remember God sees our every challenge. This is the time to surrender our challenges to God.

" There are times when we see that no one cares about us, but God sees and will provide answers to our needs. God will never leave you alone if you surrender your challenges to Him," she emphasised.

Masauko also read Hebrews 13:5 and said God will never leave us alone even if we feel hopeless, useless, nameless and helpless. He will come to us if we call upon His name and seek help.

Speaking in the afternoon, Eluby Masauko encouraged the congregation to spend time to do community service and welfare by sharing what little they have to those in need. She encouraged the women to have various programmes in their ministry.
