The seeds of life that were sown in soil by the Women Ministry in Bunda district have perfectly responded to the works of the faithful sower as 40 Souls turned their lives to Christ and got baptized on 13 August 2022.

This followed a fortnight moments of gospel explosion spreading Adventist message that started on 31 July 2022 in Mkaka village, the area of Group Village Headman Pwale in Lilongwe.

The evangelistic effort organized by Bunda District Women Ministry was led by Evangelist Rodrick Tsakabwa of Mitundu Church of the Seventh-day Adventist with canvasing support from lay Preachers Hamsen Tambala and Chipala Bester.

Prior to moments of unveiling the ripe fruits plucked from the crusade, during the divine service of the effort closing Sabbath, August 13, a story from 2 Kings 5:1-14 was narrated in which the Syrian Commander Namaan was beaten by a deadly disease of leprosy but later got healed upon taking heed of Elisha's simple directive of him going to bath in Jordan river seven times.

"In this life, there are several people who hear the message of healing from God but they doubt God and think about their old ways and their status.

Words spoken from the young maidservant on this leprosy commander spiced by the encouragement of his boys in Israel collectively led to the healing of Naman at the Jordan river", said Rodrick Tsakabwa.

Abiding to simple rules from the prophet of God Elisha, Naman got healed after the seventh bath in Jordan river.

The baptism of the converts excited the Women Ministry department that spiced the afternoon program with harmonious marching parade within Mkaka village.

"We thank God for working through us and that He used us to spread the message of the soon coming saviour", narrated Prisca Ngwenya, the district vice president for the Women ministry.

In his remarks GVH Pwale commended SDA Church in Bunda District for working tirelessly in reaching out to many perishing souls to be saved from sin.

Those that need to be saved go bath in Jordan river.
